A Brief Bio Of Arthur Prescott

My history starts in Louisiana. Like today, I spent much of my early years on and around water. As a youngster, my friends and I utilized Louisiana's vast paradise to fish, ski, swim and travel. Our playgrounds included False River, Old River, The Atchafalaya Basin, Spanish Lake, Alligator Bayou, Bayou Teche, and Lake Verret. We fished with cane poles and spinning rigs. And our boats were bateaus and pirogues!

I grew up in Baton Rouge, attended Episcopal High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana State University. Like many other Louisiana Cajuns of that era, I left my home in search of working in a large city where corporate opportunities would provide room for exploration and advancement. I achieved those aspirations in Atlanta, where I spent the better part of a decade in corporate office equipment sales and sales management. I traveled the Greater Atlanta area and became very familiar with its suburbs, business centers, and sprawling growth.

During all of those years of corporate life, I dreamed about what it would be like to live, play and work in an area as scenic and beautiful as Forsyth County, Georgia and Lake Lanier. My wife and I moved here in 1997, and the Lake and its beauty are in our backyard. My real estate career took off shortly thereafter and has never been better. Along the way, it has become more beautiful as I now cover Forsyth, Dawson, Lumpkin, Hall and northern Gwinnett counties. Lake Lanier has been my real estate life. I travel, search, view, photograph and interact with Lake Lanier and its people every day. It is a daily experience that I treasure and share.
